Hot on the heels of the TV ad, we've ventured into the world of AR with our first Blippar ad.
The six sheet allows you to find your nearest store, view all your local offers, join the Facebook Page and even order your pizza there and then! Oh, and you can salivate over it too.
I've also attached the poster so you can try it out from the comfort of your desk. Just download the app for free and get scanning. Nom, nom, nom.

Augmented Reality Trainers
Yes, that's right, trainers. Would you believe Adidas have a pair of augmented reality trainers available to buy? Well Adidas have just created a pair. And they come in 5 different colours so you can have lots of augmentedness.
The hit layer is on the tongue and looks different for the various trainers, but I don't know if they do anything different.
Once your trainer is placed in front of the webcam, you have a world to play with. On your shoe. There are shooting games which is play by moving your shoe around and firing.
Here's the teaser for the trainers

If you fancy buying a pair you can find them here.

The forever changing book
Who'd have thought. With technology now, you can actually have a book that changes every time you read it. I'd explain more, but this video tells you everything you need. Enjoy.
Augmented Reality Business Card
Augmented reality is slowly starting to take off. So some clever sod has put a graphic on the back and made his business card come to life! It's a great idea
The only downside is that the receiver of the business card needs a computer to see the content on it. Of course you can simply print the graphic on one side and then your usual name and address on the other side but that spoils half the fun doesn't it?!
Oh and James Aliban does a lot of cool AR stuff... like this:

And this is too cool. I did not know you could embed the ability to phone someone while using AR, well so long as you are viewing it through your iPhone that is.
